Story is mostly canon compliant, although Sam and Dean find out about pureblood werewolves earlier than in canon. This story owes a debt of gratitude to the Angel episode The Ring…in case anyone thought it seemed a bit familiar!

Summary:
When Dean disappears after a hunt in Montana, Sam will stop at nothing to find him. As he tears up the Mid-west looking for answers, Sam learns that it’s not only hunters who are disappearing; monsters are being kidnapped too.

Meanwhile, Dean awakes to find himself locked in a cell. Being held captive sucks, but he knows his brother will come for him soon. Until that happens, all he has to do is kill monsters in an arena. In front of an audience. Wearing sandals and a leather skirt.

It’s not as much fun as it sounds.

Summary:

Jared Padalecki is a young, idealistic police officer and due for his first promotion. He’s also an Out gay man at a time when the AIDS virus has just started to make headline news. He’s endured endless homophobic taunts and had other officers refuse to provide him with backup. Nobody wants to work with him.

When Jared is assigned to be Jensen’s new Observer, they're not sure which of them the partnership is supposed to be punishing, but the pair soon discover that they make a great team. And Jared thinks they could be something more if Jensen ever ventured out of the closet long enough for something more than a one night stand with a stranger.

When they’re selected to test pilot a state-of-the-art combat helicopter with cutting-edge surveillance capabilities, the pair unwittingly stumbles on sinister information about the government’s plans for the new helicopter. Summary:
Dean Winchester has a pretty sweet life. He works in construction; he married his long-time girlfriend, Carmen, straight out of high school; and he’s almost paid off a basic apartment in the Middle District. He may never have left his home district, let alone his home planet, but he’s happy… more-or-less.

So why does he keep dreaming about the red wastelands of Mars? Why does he know more about the Martian Resistance than he has any right to? And who do the long, long legs and decidedly male butt that have him waking up achingly hard every morning belong to?

Maybe Dean just needs a holiday? He couldn’t afford a real one, of course, but maybe he could go to Déjà Vu and get the memories of a holiday implanted; get Mars out of his system.

Of course, that’s when the trouble really starts.

Author's Note: This is my second story in this year's

spn_reversebang. This is the first year that I've participated in the challenge and it's also the first time I've ever signed up to be a pinch hitter for anything. This story is my pinch hit assignment. It's also my first Gabriel/Dean fic and my first BDSM fic. Many cherries were popped with this fic, that's for sure! As a pinch hitter, I only got to start working on this weeks after the final drafts for the challenge were supposed to be completed, and accordingly, I was planning to do a 3-4K kink fill. The muse though, she had other ideas. Apparently Dean Winchester in a cage is super inspiring...who knew?

Summary:
“You know what we need? Shore leave.”
Having just finished up an emotionally-taxing case in upstate New York, Dean decides that the Winchester brothers deserve a little ‘quality R & R’, so he talks Sam into a pilgrimage to Vegas. A road trip along scenic, historical Route 66 lands them in a ‘living Ghost town’ in northern Arizona, but what started out as a short layover to enjoy the local entertainment quickly develops into something more sinister when a couple of teens go missing. The Winchesters join in the hunt for the missing kids and soon find themselves on a case that’s bizarre, even for them; a case that could’ve come straight out of one of the sci-fi movie matinees that Dean used to drag Sam to as a kid.
