I had no fork. Not until they gave me one to eat my supper with anyway! I did see an eight year old kid get his compass confiscated from his pencil case at customs though, which I thought was weird seeing as they'll let you take nail scissors on board. The rules are weird.

So weird - some of it seems so arbitrary! I'm glad I don't fly often - actually my first time on a plane was just a couple years ago and I can't say I'm eager to do it again, but- if it takes me where I want to go, I'll suffer through it (humming Metallica and holding a fork!).

Aw, this mustmena you are back home from your Europen adventure. How sad (though I'm sure being home is wonderfully comforting after traveling, I always find it so!). Looking forward to some more reports on Italy and Vienna!
