Supernatural Season Ten Countdown...Season Eight

I've only seen Season 8 once. As I recall, there were good episodes...and bad. Man's best friend with benefits is another episode that I am pretending doesn't exist.
My overall impression, though, is of a reasonably solid season, but I don't think they did enough with the purgatory storyline, the Amelia/Sam storyline didn't work for me, because the actors had zero chemistry together, and I really felt that Show could've done more with Kevin.  Still, we had more Charlie (yay!), larping, Dean in costume, Benny, Henry Winchester, Aaron Bass and the Golem, Dean in costume, and the finale was pretty awesome with all those falling angels and Jared just acting it out of the park in that scene where he just doesn't even care if he dies and...there were tears in my eyes...just...wow...





The costume department sure does like to play dress ups with Jensen...



Dean: "You finish this trial, you're dead, Sam."
Sam: "So?"
(My heart breaks...)

We're into the home stretch now...S10 is almost upon us! :)

I'd become discouraged with the season and went into the finale feeling a bit bleh - but it was beautifully done and that last scene with the falling angels fair took my breath away.
